यूजर इंटरफ़ेस (User Interface)
यह कम्प्यूटर और यूजर के मध्य एक इंटरफ़ेस या ब्रिज का कार्य करता है। प्रोग्रम को एक्सेक्यूट , करने एप्लीकेशन को रन करने तथा डिवाइसेस को कनेक्ट करने के लिए यूजर इंटरफ़ेस का प्रयोग किया जाता है।
मुख्यतः यूजर इंटरफ़ेस दो प्रकार के होते है।
1. करैक्टर यूजर इंटरफ़ेस (Character User Interface)
इस इंटरफ़ेस में कम्प्यूटर या सॉफ्टवेयर के साथ कमांड्स के द्वारा इंटरकनेक्शन किया जाता है। कमांड्स लाइनों का प्रयोग करने के कारण इसे कमांड्स लाइन्स इंटरफ़ेस भी कहा जाता है। कमांड लाइन , कम्प्यूटर की डिस्प्ले स्क्रीन पर एक ऐसी जगह होती है, जिसमें यूजर के द्वारा निर्देश टाइप किये जाता है।
जैसे DOS इसका सबसे प्रचलित उदहारण है।
2. ग्राफ़िक यूजर इंटरफ़ेस (Graphic User interface, GUI)
ऐसा इंटरफ़ेस जो यूजर को स्क्रीन पर उपस्थित ऑब्जेक्ट्स पर पॉइंट्स या क्लिक करके कमांड्स के रूप में स्वीकार करता है , ग्राफ़िक यूजर इंटरफ़ेस कहलाता है। इसका प्रयोग मानव और मशीन के बीच एक इंटरफ़ेस के रूप में है।
जैसे - Windows , इसका प्रमुख उदाहरण है।

User Interface
It acts as an interface or bridge between the computer and the user. The user interface is used to execute programs, run applications and connect devices.
There are mainly two types of user interface.
1. Character User Interface
In this interface interconnection with computer or software is done through commands. It is also called command lines interface because of the use of command lines. The command line is a place on the display screen of a computer, in which instructions are typed by the user.
Like DOS is the most popular example of this.
2. Graphic User Interface (GUI)
An interface that allows the user to point or click on objects present on the screen in the form of commands is called a graphic user interface. It is used as an interface between human and machine.
For example, Windows is a prime example of this.
