Classification of Computer on the basis of Work and Purpose

 कार्य के आधार पर (On the basis of work)

कार्य के आधार पर कम्प्यूटर तीन प्रकार के होते है ,

1. एनालॉग कम्प्यूटर (Analog computer)- भौतिक मात्राओ ; जैसे, दाब , तापमान , लम्बाई, पारे इत्यादि को मापकर उनके परिडाम को अंको में प्रस्तुत करने के लिए एनालॉग कम्प्यूटर का प्रयोग किया जाता है , क्यूंकि ये कम्प्यूटर मात्राओ को अंको में प्रस्तुत करते है , इसलिए इनका उपयोग विज्ञान और इंजीनियरिंग छेत्रो में अधिक किया जाता है ; जैसे, स्पीडोमीटर , भूकंप सूचक यन्त्र आदि।

2. डिजिटल कम्प्यूटर (Digital computer)- अंको की गड़ना करने के लिए डिजिटल कम्प्यूटर का उपयोग किया जाता है।  आधुनिक युग में प्रयुक्त अधिकतर कंप्यूटर, डिजिटल कंप्यूटर की क्लास में आते हैं। ये इनपुट किये गए डाटा और प्रोग्राम्स को 0 और 1 में परिवर्तित करके इन्हे इलेक्ट्रॉनिक रूप में प्रस्तुत करते है। डिजिटल कंप्यूटर का उपयोग व्यापर में, घर के बजट में, एनीमेशन के छेत्र में विस्तृत रूप से किया जाता है ; जैसे - डेस्कटॉप कम्प्यूटर, लैपटॉप आदि।

 3. हाइब्रिड कम्प्यूटर (Hybrid computer) - हाइब्रिड कम्प्यूटर उन कम्पूटरो को कहा जाता है, जिसमे एनालॉग तथा डिजिटल दोनों ही कम्पूटरो के गुड़ सम्मलित हो। इसके द्वारा भौतिक मात्राओ को अंको में परिवर्तित करके उसे डिजिटल  रूप में ले आते हैं। चिकित्सा के छेत्र में इसका सर्वाधिक उपयोक होता है ; जैसे - ECG , DIALYSIS machine. 

उदेस्य के आधार पर (On the basis of Purpose)

उदेस्य के आधार पर कम्प्यूटर दो प्रकार के होते हैं, 

1. सामान्य उदेशीय कम्प्यूटर (General purpose computer) - इन कम्प्यूटरो का प्रयोग सामान्य उदेस्यो के लिए किया जाता है। इनके द्वारा डाक्यूमेंट्स तैयार करने , उन्हें प्रिंट करने , डेटाबेस बनाने तथा शब्द प्रक्रिया द्वारा पत्र तैयार , इत्यादि सामान्य कार्य किये जाते हैं। 

2. विशिस्ट उदेशिये कम्प्यूटर (Special Purpose Computer) - इन कम्प्यूटरो का उपयोग विशिस्ट उद्देश्य की पूर्ति के लिए किया जाता है। इनका उपयोग अंतरिछ विज्ञानं, मौसम विज्ञानं , उपग्रह संचालन , यातायात नियंत्रड , कृषि विज्ञानं , भौतिक तथा रासायनिक विज्ञान इत्यादि छेत्रो में किया जाता है। इसमें प्रयोग किये गए CPU की छमता अधिक तीव्र होती है।

1. 2. Digital computer- Digital computer is used to calculate the numbers. Most of the computers used in the modern era fall in the class of digital computers. They convert the input data and programs into 0's and 1's and present them in electronic form. Digital computers are widely used in business, in household budgeting, in the field of animation; For example - desktop computer, laptop etc.

 3. Hybrid computer - Hybrid computer is called those computers, in which the jug of both analog and digital computers is included. Through this, by converting physical quantities into numbers, they bring them into digital form. It is most useful in the field of medicine; Eg - ECG, DIALYSIS machine.

On the basis of Purpose

Computers are of two types on the basis of purpose,

1. General purpose computer - These computers are used for general purposes. Common tasks are done by them like preparing documents, printing them, creating database and preparing letters by word process, etc.

2. Special Purpose Computer - These computers are used to fulfill the specific purpose. They are used in space science, meteorology, satellite operation, traffic control, agricultural science, physical and chemical science etc. The CPU used in this has more power.
